Originally I started off my comics with poetry. I found this beautiful old poetry book while searching an old book store in Ithica. Poetry has always had
a hold on my heart and comics right with it. I decided at that exact moment I grabbed that book,
a Collection of Poems by A. R. Ammons, that I was going to make something with it. Somehing I could express myself with fully, and all of my happenings that I have gone through.
At first it started off with random poems, each with their own unique story. The one that made me want to go further however was one called In Strasbourg in 1349. I decided after creating this piece that I needed to make my own poems and be more true to myself.
